8/29/12. Fletcher was born in 2011. It was great to see so many at the reunion. It was amazing who one could recognize & who I had no clue about, but was happy to hear the stories. Last year we again saw Pierrette Faure ('61) in the So. of France. Floated on Princess from England to FL. Our grandson & his 2 children just moved back to Reno, so get to see the little ones much more often. I am finally retired from homeschool teacher. My days seem just as full as before. Maybe it's because I am moving more slowly now. Again, thanks to all who welcomed us at the reunion and special thanks to Sandy, Toni & Carol and all the others who worked so hard. It was great.** 8/12. Decided to date my entry, so I know where I left off. We have a new great-grandchild, Peyton's brother, Fletcher Bain. They live in Sacramento, so it's only 2 hours & we get to see them sometimes. Finally got my ordination and my AACC in Disaster & Crisis counseling. Am beginning to wonder if learning new things is worthwhile, but will probably keep on anyway. Our last trip was great from Quebec to Florida on a cruise ship. Got to see NY City & the 9/11 site. It didn't look too differet, since the last time I was there was 1963. That's all for now.*** The story is long, 48 years is long! Still married to my Gardena High sweetheart, Roy Bain. Many of you met him during the 2 years we dated in high school. Went to Europe to school, Belgium, French school days & Academy of Art nights. Married, moved to Auburn, CA, 9 yrs, to get out of the city. Roy became a fireman & we moved to No. Lake Tahoe, 27 yrs, retired from many secretarial, teaching, banking, jobs, graduated from culinary school, as well as Executive Producer of our own company that did sound & lighting for non-profit orchestras, & some famous insrumentalists & singerss, & produced Broadway plays in an outdoor theater we built every year in the park.
